Inasmuch as this thread is beginning to veer toward comparisons with the public school system, I will venture that most Mormons I know would take issue with the public school system's practice of allowing the slowest and least attentive in class to set the pace of learning for the rest.


But the same Mormons seem unaware of a similar practice happening at church.

In fact, they laud it as a virtue.

So you're arguing that because he's a good teacher he would be more likely to be slammed down by "the Man"? Whereas a hack like me who can barely tie his shoes before getting up to teach and ignores the same rules constantly is likely to get away with flouting church rules?
