I don't for sure if Static is a Schryver sock or an anyone sock. I don't keep track of Schryver socks, but Nomad is widely believed to be one and many believe that he has several.

You see, I do like to read about past LDS scholars and leaders, and, having a lot of free time this week, was curious about the publicly available information about the Nibley family. That is neither here nor there, but it does show you how I came upon this club where outsiders are shunned.

Maybe this is just my settings, but I show static joined on 4/26 at 12:34 PM, and the OP (which the Google search finds) was posted on 4/26 at 1:49 PM. Are my time zone settings to blame, or should I worry that Google has somehow become prophetic?

If so, that suggests that Static and Tabitha are simply sock puppets of one and the same person, who would like to promote discussion of that sad Schryver guy on this board. But who would want to do such a thing ....?

Well, per the OP, it has to be someone who can't tell the difference between "peaked" and "piqued" (no, an error like that can't be a typo). That is not Daniel Peterson, I'd bet. Instead, we are probably looking for someone who is rather less educated than they would like to be taken for, and rather pretentious in his writing style. Do we know anybody like that ......?

No, I don't mean Droopy.

I'll have to think about it for a bit . . or 8.

You used the terms "Nibley Biological Son" to search for family information about Hugh Nibley? If you thought Nibley having a bastard son was a ridiculous "spaced-out conspiracy theory," why look for information that specifies whether Nibley's son is biological or not? Did you also search "Nibley Adopted Son," "Nibley Stepson," and Nibley Bastard Son"?

Carton wrote:Forgive me my ignorance about this, but what are some of the known Schryver sock puppets? The only one I am aware of is the female poster (I forget the name now) that was attacking Runtu and was banned because of it. Remind me of that sock puppet name (if you can) and also (if you can) list some of the others too.

Thanks.

Some of Schryver's sockpuppets include:

--Provis
--Chozah (this was the one he used to manipulate and lie to Dan Vogel with)
--Wheat (Runtu's stalker)
--Silver Hammer
--Belinda Schryver
--Opie Rockwell

I'm sure there are others. As for "static"---well, let's just say that I appreciate the fact that this individual has picked a screenname that so earnestly and clearly underscores his/her basic behavior and motives.

I used many different variations of many different search terms. Do these nuances really matter? You aren't required to believe anything I'm saying. In fact, please go on with the "who is the new guy" game. I thought I'd be able to share some thoughts or discuss some things here, but it appears that many of the citizens of this community are too busy trying to dislike the outsider. I'll leave it at that, I suppose, if I can't have the benefit of the doubt here.

For good form, again: My name isn't Daniel or William or Willard or Tabitha. To the best of my knowledge, I don't know anyone else who posts here.

Do you know the name of the king in Facsimile No. 3 of the Book of Abraham?

I've asked nicely and you don't seem to know. What do you know? Anything?

The name of the "king" in Facsimile No. 3 of the Book of Abraham is Isis. Yes...that is her name.

You may be right about that. Let's see if the poor chap will tell us the name of the king written in the writing of Facsimile No. 3.

Waiting . . . . but not for much longer.
