do. Even the President of the United States agrees. Many nations have finally granted this basic right. States within the US are also finally coming around. Marriage is a civil right and the Supreme Court will rule that way. All of
the justices will be agreed. You'll see.

Gay marriage is coming. Nothing can stop it because the Supreme Court knows what they are doing and they cannot deny basic civil rights on the basis of Bible thumpers and Mormons who want to deny these rights.

Paul, the way to get this basic civil right is not to trample on the analogous basic civil right of others. You have said that you frankly don't care about the analogous right for polygamists. I believe the words, "Screw them," were used.

Don't think that the rights of polygamists won't come up in the arguments put before the nation's highest court. I'm not the first person to point out the relationship between gays' insistence that they be allowed to marry and polygamists' insistence that they also be allowed to legally marry. For the record I originally heard the argument in an article I read in a newspaper by Charles Krauthammer. I think it's safe to say that Krauthammer didn't want to see either gay marriage or polygamy legalized, so perhaps I'm unique because I would like to see both legalized at once.

There are nine men who can stop it. In order to get gay marriage legalized, you have to get the votes of five of them. Which five are going to vote in favor of gay marriage?

If you don't know which five will, how do you know that the Supreme Court will ever vote in favor of gay marriage?

The Supreme Court made a fateful decision concerning Prayer and Bible reading in public school. The result was (I believe) the assination of a president, slump of education, and the turmoil of the 60's. The Supreme Court made another fateful decision concerning Abortion, resulting in a rise in unmarried pregnancies, child abuse, growing infidelity, disrepect of the elderly, and the beginning of the "gay pride" movement. God only knows what will be the outcome of this round of human logic...

I don't expect anything disastrous to come of it. I may be unlike most Latter-day Saints in that viewpoint. The most reliable estimates have gays and lesbians making up only around two percent of the population, so even if Paul's right and the Supreme Court does legalize gay marriage, that won't affect large amounts of the US population, like the abortion ruling did.

Children will experiment and such experimentation does have serious consequences. What persentage of Sodom, Gommorah, and the other cities of the plane were homosexual ---- everyone but Lot and his Family? How do such things begin? People get sucked in. People accept and then experiment, then practice...

I think they're experimenting already. Whether we like it or not, homosexuality has become a much more acceptable sexual lifestyle than it was say fifty years ago. I don't see how allowing gays to marry will change either the attractiveness of the gay lifestyle or the stigma still associated with it.

Mary Cheney, the openly gay daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, has married her longtime partner, Heather Poe.

The couple, who live together in Virginia and have two children, were married Friday morning in Washington, according to the Daily Caller, a news site co-founded by Neil Patel, a former advisor to the former vice president.

"Mary and Heather have been in a committed relationship for many years, and we are delighted that they were able to take advantage of the opportunity to have that relationship recognized," the Cheney family said in a statement. "Mary and Heather and their children are very important and much loved members of our family and we wish them every happiness."

Who are these nine men of which you speak?

What a revelation.

Those men who call themselves "Ruth," "Sonia," and "Elena" have evidently been fooling a lot of people for a long time. Frauds!
