I guess my view of what the Gospel teaches is that we should consider all men our friends. Perhaps it is a too simplistic view, but it does seem to be the way the M&G treats all people regardless.
"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."
And that was my point. I have not seen Mercyngrace defend the LDS church against the critics on this board. But since I am not monitoring her posts, she may have done so. But I haven't seen it.
She defends it by the way she acts, it's a point that you continue to either miss or ignore. You should ask yourself why she has the respect of people that disagree with her? We read her posts on the other board just like others read our posts here. We know where she stands, without her having to repeat herself here. As you know it has become common practice for respondents on both boards to reply using only one board. You criticize M&G for failing to be vocal enough here but seem perfectly fine with those who choose to not post here at all. Dan is a big boy, he does not need M&G going to bat for him here, or any where else.

Let me spell it out for you: this board is a crazy place. Lawsuits have been threatened many times. You need to get the message out to the critics on this board. You have a good message of considering human beings as friends. But yes, it is too simplistic when we see how posters use language to attack others.

You remember wrong on all counts. I've never attended a church with the word "Calvary" in its name, or lived in Idaho, and my pastor isn't even a man.

And with your current mindset about Mormons, you just may have persecuted them in the 19th century if you lived at that time. Likewise for others on this forum.
Thank you for proving my point.

By the way, you are the one who instigated this thread. And I wouldn't call it a peacemaker thread. Right? But it is okay. I understand hypocrisy very well by people on this board. And I have no problem with it.
But I should have played it smart and let the thread run its course. But...I took the bait.

Good. So shut up already.
Persecutor! Mormon-burner!
