Yes, because anything short of video evidence is hearsay according to apologists.....

Oliver Cowdery termed it an affair, do you consider him a reliable witness?

Are you claiming he was watching them in a barn or was it more likely he was just responding to hearsay and rumors? I think you'd agree that Eliza R. Snow is a much more credible witness for obvious reasons.

I don't know how he got his information, but he felt strongly enough about it to term it an affair.

Did Eliza Snow say it wasn't an affair, or that Emma had knowledge of it?

Just because "he felt strongly" about what he said, doesn't mean the information is correct or credible.

Obviously Eliza Snow claimed they were married, so I can't imagine how she would know and Emma would not.

Tobin, that there were anti bigamy laws on the books in IL is part of the public record.

That Joseph Smith hid his relationships from Emma is also documented.
My sister Eliza and I, having arrived at an age at which we might earn our own living and perhaps contribute something to help our mother and the smaller children, were considering what we had better do, when the Prophet Joseph and his wife Emma offered us a home in their family, and they treated us with great kindness. We had been there about a year when the principle of plural marriage was made known to us, and I was married to Joseph Smith on the 4th of March, 1843, Elder Heber C. Kimball performing the ceremony. My sister Eliza was also married to Joseph Smith a few days later. This was done without the knowledge of Emma Smith. Two months afterward she consented to give her husband two wives, provided he would give her the privilege of choosing them. She accordingly chose my sister Eliza and myself, and to save family trouble Brother Joseph thought it best to have another ceremony performed. Accordingly on the 11th of May, 1843, we were sealed to Joseph Smith a second time, in Emma’s presence, she giving her free and full consent thereto. (Historical Record, p. 240).

What part of the history do you want to dispute?

It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener at war.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

Is there any truth to the statements that Emma sent Fanny out of the house after she learned about the relationship between Joseph and Fanny?

We are talking about Fanny Alger SteelHead. Please try to stay on topic and stop citing irrelevant facts.

Are you saying it's possible he saw it with his spiritual eyes?

When did Eliza say this?

Is there any truth about Emma pushing Eliza down the stairs when she found out she was pregnanat? Both stories probably have some basis in fact. However, I don't think Emma's later disapproval and possible reactions are relevant to the question of whether or not Joseph Smith and Fanny were married. And more importantly to the LDS, whether or not God command Joseph Smith to marry Fanny as his first polygamous wife?

No, I'm saying it most likely he didn't see anything at all.

You really should keep up with the stuff Don Bradley has dug up on this. Here is the relevant thread. http://mormondiscussions.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=13875
