Exactly. In every population you have outliers, extremes. How you deal with them is important but you *will* have to eventually. If you just tell board members to adapt, their adaptation might be even worse than the problem. A thriving board is a beautiful thing but cannot just be assumed.

Yeah, report stuff like that. That's clearly a rule violation that I would've moved. It would've added, in my mind anyway, to a body of evidence that he was a repeat offender not following warnings. If it happens again, he's on the queue. It's only going to take one legitimate report. I favored queuing him now, but Shades' take is just a hair away from that.

If DCP came back to the board, I guarantee you that I wouldn't make fun of his fat personage, not even in the telestial forum. But you can be sure that I would harass him to death about Facsimile No. 3 which is a thorn in his sorry side. Those concerns are of great concern to the LDS apologists and they hate dealing with it.

Exactly. He's played them and they couldn't handle it. This board contains many priceless threads, proven gems that are truly golden but there are going to be piles of poop along the way because this is an INTERNET DISCUSSION BOARD containing people who are out to destroy their opponent's argument any way they can.
This is not a neat and tidy scholar's board that needs heavy moderation. The most prized threads are going to contain some poop. Just walk over the piles!
