You have me all wrong, MOlok. I'm eager to learn from others. I'm eager to be helpful if I can. It just so happens there is a lot of hostility here. I want the posters to move past their efforts to express misplaced anger. I'd imagine some have a ways to go--some are much closer to where they ought to be. I simply want what's best for each individual. When I respond to topics and get a handful of posters whining about me for pages, I have to point out the hostility. It's only fair, and hopefully one day someone will listen. Hopefully one soul is worth saving, as they say.

The reasons for you to care about others anonymity is up to you. if you don't care, that's great. Some people do care, or at least they express as much. When an LDS person's anonymity is compromised everyone here exalts the compromiser. If something that doesn't even get close to revealing the identity of Everybody Wang Chung is done, then a 42 page thread is opened whining about the incident.

See, when you get all pissy and call people names, it's just being silly, but for anyone else here (who isn't a Mormon, I've noticed that you have a real bias against people who aren't Mormons) we're angry and hostile and incapable of moving on with our lives.

But you say it just like I did. It doesn't matter to you if someone not on your side has his anonymity compromised here. Indeed, if someone's not on your side and his/her anonymity is compromised you think he/she deserves it (it does seem to be nothing more than war here, sometimes, with such an us vs them mentality). It matters a great deal to you, though, if someone on your side has been caught lying and yet no effort was made to reveal in real life about him.

I absolute enjoy the fact that this thread reveals hypocrisy by posters here, anger from posters here (misplaced at that), and many other ugly and unfair things. I know that many here love that this thread continues as it somehow makes Dan look bad in their book. That's all they really seem to want--Dan appearing to be bad. Truth? Who cares about that? Honesty? No way. Consistency? Not a chance.
