You assumed some things about Jason that you might not have, had you known him a bit longer. He was trying to be helpful. You jumped on him like Tigger on Pooh.

He said specifically how much it was worth, and according to you I'm out of line for calling for his sources (so I can cite them myself and not look like an idiot when I do, and again, he had none) and not knowing him better. I don't care if he was my grandmother, I'd ask for references for this kind of thing.

And you, my friend, will have to do better than that. If you are going to make straw men, I won't play along with you. And the blow by blow of my initial engagement with the dear doctor took up about a dozen threads, several dozen pages, over 3 days and shut down the frickin' board. And I didn't get banned for it. Pres Hinckley lives in a church owned condo in downtown SLC. It is estimates to be worth about 1.5 million but probably has dropped since then as realestate is Utah is on the decline. The Church bought this condo years ago for their church president and he lives there primarily for security reasons and also for assistance with living and health issues as he ages. His home before that was in the Millcreek area, a modest home that he bought many years ago himself and bilt on to it himself as he needed to. Neither of these is anywhere near mansion status. All other GAs live in their own homes that most bought before they were ever called to be GAs.

Do you mind divulging the source of your information, or explain why I should believe you. I'm willing to believe you, I just need more than a little faith to do so.

I feel almost certain that the part about Millcreek area is correct. If I recall correctly, there was some family land in that area.
