SLDrone sent me an email soon after he resigned. Within days he got a simple letter from Greg Dodge confirming his name removal.

Now I feel left out. Why doesn't anyone contact my Bishop/SP? I'm one of their High Priests. I've given out my Ward/Stake information on MA&D in the past. I never hiesitate to bear my testimony that I think the Mormon church should be honest with its membership and try to be the most truthtelling church on the earth. I've even asked to have the missionaries come over to teach my children. But the Bishop won't let the mishies come over and he got my TBM mom pissed over this. My mom was worried that I might feed my kids some questions to ask the mishies. Well my kids already beat her to the punch as they asked me to put together a list of questions for the missionaries to answer. The Bishop did offer for me to bring my kids over to his house. But I declined as I have over 3000sf of space and plenty of rooms in my home. Guy Sajer has stayed at my place and can attest to it that I have plenty of room. The mishies could make themselves comfortable and make their best shot at showing that their church will teach my kids the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. As a result both of my children over age 9 are still unbaptized.

Do you fear "outing"? Do you think that the postings of Rollo, you and Harmony would really mean anything to you/their bishops?
1) Should I fear it? 2) Perhaps.
I reiterate my challenge to go mano a mano with you in a debate on a topic of your choice dealing with Church history. Your silly rejoinder to me about debating me about something I have said in the past is rejected.
Sorry, Bob, if you are going to reject my choice, then I'm afraid there's nothing we can do.

As far as I can tell ... Lou Midgley, Daniel Peterson and other apologists have had plenty of opportunities to "out" plenty of critics, and have not done so. It seems like their policy is that the critics should self-report themselves. Several times while living in Utah I had lunch with a successful businessman in his 40's that lived in the Salt Lake area that posted online under the nickname SLDrone. He exchanged plenty of barbs with Peterson on ZLMB. I'm pretty sure that Peterson figured out exactly who he was. And if Peterson had reported him then SLDrone would've certainly been excommunicated. Instead SLDrone's eventual termination to church membership came in the office of M. Russell Ballard when SLDrone pulled out his resignation letter during one of their regular interviews that took place a couple years AFTER SLDrone started posting on RfM.
I thought the Brethren knew all about SLDrone and his feelings on the Church years ago when he returned early from his stint as MP because of his lost testimony (of course, they didn't know him as "SLDrone" but by his real name). The Brethren let him be so long as he kept his mouth shut, so perhaps they would have ex'ed him if they had known he was the famous "SLDrone." How's he doing, by the way? I always enjoyed his posts.

I think they would've ex'ed him if they had known he was "SLDrone" but Daniel Peterson and others forgot to nark on him. I haven't spoken to him in a while.
One thing that's interesting to me is that his predecessor as MP setup a website for mission alumni during a 7 year period of time that his predecessor and SLDrone's immediate 2 successors served as Mission President. But this predecessor fails to mention that "SLDrone" was ever a Mission President at all. His 2 successors have both been GAs. SLDrone's immediate replacement is now on Emeritus status and was serving as Counselor in the Area Presidency at the time he took SLDrone's place. The next MP served a full MP term and has since been called to be a GA and is presently a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy. I wonder if either of these GA's have looked at that website. And I wonder if the owner of this website (the immediate predecessor of SLDrone) has ever read 2nd Nephi 9:34? I personally called him out directly on his lie and he still hasn't fixed it after many months. I wonder if his Bishop/SP know that he is not being honest in his dealings with his fellowman. I'm thinking about "out"ing him publicly!!
Hmmm I just looked at the website. Apparently this former MP (lets call him President W) still hasn't repented of his omission. And he has listed on the homepage the Spring 2008 reunions for himself and for the MP who is now a GA (lets call him President S).

Well, they are omitting the name of a man who served as an MP. They are doing this because (apparently) they are embarrassed that an "apostate" was operating in this very high position for a significant amount of time. (Gee, does that sound like anybody else who's been a hot topic of conversation lately? Hmmm.....)
Godaddy.com is the internet host for this website and its whois entry on Mr. W had the phone number for some local e-commerce company in Rexburg, ID. A quick googling of this ex-MP's name revealed the man's phone number to be (208) 356-4###.
