They're not hateful at all, just truthful (from my point of view).
If one appears in his true name and he discloses an ecclesiastical position (why would one do that is beyond me, but I stand condemned as well) you mock it rather than respect it.
It's hard to respect the title when compared to some of the actions of the titleholder.
But, being on the front line here in the same-sex marriage controversy, I can speak from experience to say that the gays are no friends of the Mormons ....
Can you blame them? Steal away a fundamental constitutional right from a targeted segment of society, and you'd better expect some anger and backlash.
Bravo to those Mormon haters, Nadine Hansen in particular, who have contributed to the misery.
I disagree with their tactics, but no one should be surprised by the reaction to the Church's leading the effort to take away a constitutional right from a targeted segment of society.
