The advantage I have over you in posting as a real person as opposed to you posting anonymously, is that assertions like the above are more open to being confirmed or denied.

For example, if one was interested, one could check with my many male and female friends over the years to see if there is any basis to your assertion. One would then find ample evidence that your assertion is absurd.

However, since you are posting anonymously, you could claim online to be one type of person, but really be quite another: you could claim online to be a happily married heterosexual male, and yet in reality you could be a raging homosexual pedophile with a fetish for 4-legged furry animals, and there would be no way confirm or deny one way or the other. In short, as a pretend buffalo, you can neither confirm nor deny that you are what you project onto me, whereas I legitimately can, and have--though you are free to pretend otherwise.

On an unrelated (non-religious) forum, I had some personally-identifiable information in my signature, and someone actually used that to find out my social security number, address, names of family members, etc and posted them online. A few weeks later there was unauthorized use of my debit cards.

If you say straight up right now that you don't have any same-sex attraction I will believe you, but your bizarre lock/key ideas sounded like a the writings of gay person trying very hard not to be gay to me. Just in my opinion.

I have been posting on the net under my real identiy for decades--since back in the days of terminal simulators that predate graphic browser\s, and so I well aware of both the costs and benefits in doing so. I have, and continue to weighed the two and have thus far deemed the risks worth the benefits.

I can respect, though, if you have determined otherwise, particularly given what you regrettably experienced.
