Why haven't the error detecting switches opened?

OK, for you, I give permission to drag my personal life onto this board all you'd like if that will improve your argument. Go for it.
Last thing I want to be is a hypocrit with billionaire clients.

Still waiting for that list of cases in which you are the attorney of record.

For those of us who haven't read the different threads on this, can anyone clarify exactly what the evidence is that supports the authenticity of these emails?
I can't believe a conversation would go 10 pages over something that someone posted without any corroboration without the authenticity of the email being a huge point of discussion, but I guess stranger things have happened.
At the very least, can someone run a wordprint on this for us?

So far they're as devoid of authenticity as anti Mormon claims against the Church. There are plenty of people here who'd love to smash me over the head by pointing out this post or that post. Hasn't happened yet.

DCP denied authorship yet?

Gee, bcspace. It looks like you are strongly opposed to people accepting factual claims as true, and acting on their belief in those factual claims, when those claims have not been authenticated.
I am sure that such skepticism only applies to certain limited areas of life, however, and that there is no general principle you might infer from this.
My Mom is a big believer in FARMS, and she was upset by these rumors. She called somebody and was told basically that they know there are rumors out there, but they won't comment on them.

Why do you suppose they aren't interested in denying the rumors?

Our story so far:
1. DCP, on the heals of another BYU prof.'s racial stupidity, makes some really stupid racial statements on his shiny new blog.
2. Before getting that delicious foot out of his mouth, he stuffs in the other regarding the benefits of the Holocaust. (sidenote, Mormons haven't been getting on too well lately with Jews because of the whole baptism for the dead, Holocaust victim thing.)
3. Obviously errotic icon shows up on DCP Facebook page, he clicks, broadcasting his viewership to, I don't know, just about the whole world.
4. DCP tries to excuse himself by claiming naïvété (I didn't know the penis was loaded) and warned others not to make the same mistake.
5. Scratch notices that DCP's journal hasn't published for a while, a long while.
6. Leaked alleged email to DCP firing the said DCP while the said DCP is out of the country is posted on MD. Says MI wants a more mainstream apologist. Is it OK if I repeat that? The email says that MI wants a more mainstream apologist.
7. To date, least of all, DCP has NOT denied that the email is authentic.
8. Leaked alleged snarky email, as only DCP can snark, directed to DCP's immediate superior who fired him, posted on MD.
9. To date, least of all, DCP, has NOT denied that the email is authentic. It would be very uncharacteristic of DCP to let that sort of thing slide if it was fake.
10. DCP does blog post on the trials and tribulations of life, and how they make us better, sort of like his view of slavery and the Holocaust.
11. Threads on MDD even coming anywhere close to touching on this are immediately quashed (thanks for the reminder, beastie).
Cue Hammond organ music with way to much vibrato as this episode ends, fade to soap commercial.
And tune in tomorrow . . .
