In all seriousness, I wondered when I read this line if he was considering harming himself. I hope not, but his posts have been a bit erratic. After Darth J's long post about Ray's history, I went back to read a few old posts from RayA. It is hard to believe that it is the same person.
I must admit that I saw it as Ray being a drama queen.

I think I am going to have to put Paul on ignore. I find it somewhat difficult to criticize him because I simply cannot imagine how painful it must have been to grow up gay in the church, but his rants are increasingly incoherent and tiresome. They seem to be quite purposefully aimed at shock value rather than making an argument. For example, he says in his last post that we don't know what Jesus said because we don't have any of his writings . . . yet the Romans were right to kill him because he was a "kook." Don't you seen the obvious disconnect there Paul?
I don't come here to read incoherent rants, and I would guess that is the same for most of us. I can go to the MADhouse if I want to read those.
I feel very badly about the whole Ray situation. That is all I will say other than this: I don't care to mock him, especially since I think something must be up.

Liz, it turns out that I don't have to put up with someone's hypocritical BS and hysterical rants just because he thinks the Book of Mormon is nice or may be having personal issues.

Bottom line, I am not going to get in the middle of your disputes with Ray. To be honest, I haven't even kept up on them.
I will take it at face value that he has likely been as nasty to you as you have to him.

Liz, since you frankly admit that you are just going to assume how things are without any basis, why are you expressing concern about what Paul said to Ray? Your unsupported assumption is that Ray's nastiness toward pretty much everyone is equally balanced with nastiness against him, so why is Paul's post even worth mentioning?
You were a fan of The Nehor. Remember the wake you held when he left the board? Did The Nehor say things to Ray that were just as bad as Ray's remarks about The Nehor being addicted to masturbation and turning to Mormon apologetics to assuage his guilt about it?
