The original reddit post linked in the OP includes a second link to a former Mormon adult film actress who shares more about what is intended. Sounds like she is using Norton to get herself and a few female adult film actors in to make lesbian porn in an actual temple. She appears to be familiar enough with the temple ceremony to make some of the usual innuendos one heard from missionaries at the MTC (it is delicious to the taste and very desirable...let us go down...stuff like that). Or maybe those were just the missionaries of my day.
I think its a dumb idea. Ex-Mormons are the only ones who will find any positives out of it while most Mormons will hear about it and imagine it is just one more point of validation for how dark the mind becomes when one leaves the Church but can't leave it alone. Imagining there will be more people affected by the question of how God might allow this to happen who haven't been concerned with the historical problems is bizarre in my opinion. The Bible is full of stories of temples being desecrated by heathens...the heroes being those to rebuild and sanctify them. I don't imagine this being a great new missionary tool for exposing the faithful to the truth...and that's the heart of my issue with this. There isn't any "truth" at the core of the act that matters. It is actually the opposite, reinforcing Mormon mythologies about how ex-Mormons think and act which I think is largely inaccurate. We just have enough public examples like Norton to satisfy the typical person's need to be able to justify their belief and move on.
TL;DR Check the second link in Norton's Reddit post. It's a dumb idea.

Honor, I thinks it’s important to note the vocal outcry disagreeing with this idea from the exmormon community is being noticed. A faithful member posted on exmormon Reddit saying how nice it was the exmormon community was overwhelmingly opposed to this stunt. I think if this goes down, Mike Norton will be isolated as the only one liking this idea and not a broad stroke representation of the exmormon community.

Perhaps Mike Norton is the ONE antiMormon in town that has the vision and ability to smack the church where it hurts most. The anti-Mormon herd is not going to stop progress.
Like I said, I can't wait to see the what comes of it.

Would I be upset if the porn stars snuck into my home and filmed a sex scene in my bed? Nope. As long as they left a note to wash the sheets, I wouldn’t care one iota. If they stole something on the way out, I’d prosecute to the fullest.
You're so off base with this you're not even in the ballpark. Nice monologue effect you got going there.
