The Church is true, but I don't think these three can carry it off.
You should be there. Cast your gaze upon them so they behave and represent Mormons in a positive light.

Finally something you two can agree on.
I watched the whole thing, and I found that 1) your exposition on Russell M. Nelson’s coup* was exceptional, and 2) your pre-game trash talk is excellent. It’s so good, in fact, I guarantee you owe them rent money for the amount of time you’re spending in their lightly furnished heads.

* I ain’t sayin’ Russell M. Nelson is obsessed with money (Sealestial, amirite?), but given his refined tastes and penchant to lust after the finer things in life, I wouldn’t be surprised if a few of those billions go missing before he hands in his punch card for one free godhood. You know. Gotta make sure the progeny can focus on their art instead of worrying about bills.

Brad Witbeck just committed all three Midnight Mormons will be present for the debate!

Time for me to start cramming!

Nah!!!
This will be your opportunity to shine. And without anyone else on your side of the stage. This IS your moment. Everything has led up to this.

Whether or not you feel/believe that you’ve been taken seriously by your peers in times past…no matter. This is it. Your knowledge. Your expertise. It’s all on the table.

Should be fun!

You're disdain for consig is pretty obvious. He is just the messenger. Perhaps the weakness of the message needs to be the focal point?

I am sure he will do fine. Mormonism is so weak in its claims that it should allow someone polished like consig to dance about his opponents while positioning them for the kill shot. 5 to 1 there will be a retreat to bearing testimony, a position that can justify any crazy theory out there. I am sure at least some flat-earthers sincerely believe in their nonsense.

I respect RFM because of his amazing work over the last few years. He could make a complete fool of himself during this debate and it wouldn’t budge my view of him.

It’s the midnight Mormons that have something to prove.

I'd much rather watch a live debate with other apologetic Mormons, not the Midnight Mormons who have no credibility as far as I can tell. They are poor representatives of Church doctrine and are not scholarly players, as they play their game of fun-time -- they are a flash in the pan and an embarrassment to the Church. I think there will be a lot of interest in the debate and a lot of people will tune in, especially people who love drama and high-stake posturing, or whatnot. But I find this combination between RFM and the Midnight Mormons to be a no-go for me. I don't care for it very much. Those guys are jokers and clowns. They reek with disdain on every level. I can imagine Quacko taking a big toke off a joint prior to starting the show. And fat-boy (what's his name) chugging a light beer.

Anyway, when is the show? Is it tomorrow? I'll at least watch the rerun or give it a try but I don't know just how much I will be able to stand all that freaking drama. That's what it is, drama! Wish I knew what questions RFM had in mind but those are close to his chest and his cards are hidden. But, if I know RFM, he's got something tricky up his sleeve. A good magician always has a fallback and tricks to use when in a pinch. Isn't that right, RFM? I mean really, you're not at all worried that Quacko will outdo you when it comes to Church history & doctrine, are you? He's young and dumb and full of himself. He's like a deer in front of the headlights. Run him over! Show no mercy.

I’m sure consig is a fine fellow. I’m only pointing out the obvious. This is his opportunity to make himself known to those that he would earnestly desire to impress. Years ago he made many efforts to get published by his LDS peers. If I’m not mistaken his work was rejected more often than it was accepted. He can’t help but feel a certain degree of rejection and/or being the outcast.

Unless he has no feelings.

This is his opportunity NOW to show those folks and others that he has arrived. He is RFM. He will overcome failures of the past and pave his way to future success. Unless he has little or no ego how can this not be so?

Anyway, I’m sure he will do well and hold up his light of knowledge and expertise for all to see and appreciate.

The debate goes live tomorrow - Saturday October 13th at 6 p.m. Mountain time (it's held in Utah). It will be live streamed hopefully by two different parties, Bill Reel, and Shawn McCraney on his "The Heart of the Matter" show. Bill is really good at posting a live stream recording up immediately after the live stream so tomorrow we should be able to see it live and to have a recording of it available. I will be posting a post-debate video on Sunday of my impressions and key themes, etc. I will probably do a few follow up videos because there could potentially be so dadgum blasted great stuff I can't include it all in one analysis.

This debate strokes the egos of all involved, doesn’t it? What an opportunity.
