chat room has ceased functioning

The chat room has ceased functioning in Netscape, my normal browser. Today, for no apparant reason, the room would not load and Netscape kept giving me an error message report to send, then the browser would close. I reinstalled Netscape copletely and now the chat window comes up, but only partially. Only the chat text is visible. The controls, text field for sending text, and the send button are all missing. Anyone have any idea what's going on? I did a normal cleaning of my registry last night, but I've done that befoe and nothing should have changed. I uninstalled Netscape completely before reinstalling, and that did have an effect, but only partial.

I see what happened. I must have uninstalled something in the registry dealing with flashplayer 7. I reinstalled flashplayer--but version 6. Reinstalling version 7 has solved the problem.
