You have people who use quotes that they like, saying important things that people should be reminded of. That's how I use mine (with quotes from John Clark about HGT vs LGT, and Dr. Shades about the slippery terms "apostasy" and "revelation"). Nighthawke is another person who uses the signature line this way, with her big quote about presentism.
Then you have signature lines that are supposed to capture embarassing things people have said. These are the *gotcha* signatures. DCP did this to me once, and I did it back to him. That was fun. Tarski has a couple of quotes about really loopy things people have said about spiritual science.
Then you have signature lines like Juliann's and most of DCP's, where the person advertises the nasty things that have been said about him/her. These are the ones I don't get.
Any attention is better than being ignored, even negative attention. Ask any child.
Oh, I think they're doing it to show how horribly vile their critics are. Critics are malicious thoughtless people - after all, look at what horrible things they're saying about innocent ole' me.

I want to know why they kept talking about porn and vulgarity. It gets repeated more than "Weapons of MAss Destruction" does on Fox News.
As I said in a post over there, I saw more porn there (1 time) than I've seen over here.

It's a bold-faced lie out of Juliann's imagination! That's what is so sad.
She knew about my feelings regarding polygamy LONG before she asked me to be a Mod. She even participated on my polygamy thread and AGREED with me.
The conversation she is referring to between Dan G and me never happened. Bond has referred to Juliann as chickensh*t many times, but, Dan G is the epidomy of being a chickensh*t. He wouldn't even talk to me about why the old Mod team was released, except to say that it would just be less complicated for the server transition.
Not one of those Mods, including Juliann, ever addressed any concerns with me regarding my feelings about the Church.
