Lets see how fast the church can settle the matter out of court.

I don't think this reflects anything on the church. It's one guy out of 60,000 in the field. There's bound to be someone in that large a group of people who will do almost anything you can imagine. I'm not trying to defend the church or anything here, just to say that this isn't really an anti-church matter.

I'm gonna have to go with Sethbag here. It appears that, quite unlike previous scandals, the church isn't covering anything up here. The church as an institution isn't trying to block justice (assuming there isn't anything more to the story than what's being reported).
That's probably true. But be that as it may, as long as the church doesn't try to obstruct justice, I can't see it being part of the blame, since it NEVER comes out and teaches that such conduct as this missionary's is okay--quite the opposite.

"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Is the church even being sued?

Why should the church even be involved in this case? I don't see anything that warrants action against the church.
