In Search of Froggie

Post by _Jersey Girl »

Hello All,

Was just reading the latest installment of Shades Mad Exile's Blog where he lists a number of "lost" posters including "Froggie". If anyone has a current email for Froggie could you send her the URL for this new board? The one I had doesn't work. Froggie did post on Shades original board.

This board could sure do with some "Big Green Hugs"!''

Froggie, oh Froggie, where are ye?

There's a Froggie listed over at the FLAK board. Don't know if it's the same one. Some Schmo is listed over there too.

I don't know what the FLAK board is. If she signs off "Big Green Hugs"...it's her.

Yes the Froggie over there does sign off that way.

I see many names familiar to me over there. I'm sure someone will PM her.

Thanks!

Uh oh, time to call Shades and ask for another grammar lesson. I believe the proper thing to have said would have been, "Froggie, oh Froggie, where art thou?"

The reason being that thou is singular (there's only one Froggie) while ye is plural.

Think of Shakespeare. "Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo" which means, "Why are you (called) Romeo (of my family's enemy)?"
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.

I am not in the mood for big green hugs from a poster who has no intention of actually meaning it. Her big green hugs used to piss me off because I knew that she did not mean to give a hug...it became just a 'cute' saying by a critic who had no intention of 'hugging' the faithful lds posters at FAIR/MAD.

Lets hope that she found a nice toad to hug somewhere else. But without the big green hugs sign off, I could get to like her.
