Next update on the Dick Cheney fiasco-in-embryo.

Yesterday or today there was an open-panel discussion was held involving students and faculty.

Our intrepid documentarians were present with a camera (and signed waivers from major players).

However, BYU doesn't like its students to document things that might make them look bad. . .

So campus security swooped in and physically (in the assault meaning of the word) stole the camera and footage.

BYU Security won't respond to requests to return the camera and footage taken, nor will they respond to emails or telephone calls regarding this incident.

It looks like a lawyer is getting involved in this situation.

I suppose the Provo police or the US Attorney for Utah were unavailable? Tried the ACLU? The Salt Lake Weekly or the Tribune?
