Do you think that her misconstruing is deliberate and purposeful?
I can't say for certain. However, I do think it's possible that she feels that since language is so muddy, she can interpret your words in a whole range of ways without really doing anything unethical.

That's well beyond Mussolini, Dude. In fact, I don't know what territory that's getting into. Artificial Intelligence research? Spa treatments? Porn?
