Who else just can't stay away from this place?
I am completely fascinated and can't help but peek in every so often.
Even those that hate this place are looking.
Aren't you? :D

Considering some posters have been doing this for over ten years, it probably should be viewed as a lifestyle alternative.
I have a suspicion that people think about what they will post when they are away from their computer. I imagine countless hours of research go into some of these posts as well. It's truly amazing!

This is probably a huge fault of mine, but I never think long about what I'm going to say before I post it (yeah, yeah... it shows... hardy har har). I like to react to posts and then read what I've said later. It's very instructive for me.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

At one point in my life (right after I found out about Joseph's multiple wives), I nearly shredded the boards I was on. The anger spilled over into my personal life, and effected both my marriage and my relationship with my children. My world was rocked off its axis. I'd joined the church in good faith, almost lost my parents and extended family because of it, only to find out that the founder was a lying sack of horse manure? I did not react well. Everyone around me felt the earthquake.
After almost 10 years, I've finally found some peace and my own way of dealing with it, with much help from friends here. These boards aren't an addiction to me; between here and the Fringe feels like home to me. So yes, I return often. Yes, I spend a lot of time on research. Yes, I try to keep myself informed on the latest developments. Yes, I love this place and the people who share it with me.
