A humble request from your much-beleaguered moderator

Dear fellow MormonDiscussors:
The major rule here in the Terrestrial Forum--beyond the obvious such as posting spam, pornography, etc.--is to NEVER use the "F" or "S" words, or any of their variants. (The minor rule is to not start threads whose sole purpose is to attack another poster, but that's neither here nor there). Use the Telestial Forum to swear to your heart's content; that's what it's there for.
Now, judging from the content of this forum of late, it appears that perhaps I haven't given enough reminders. Either that, or perhaps people keep missing them. Maybe I just haven't been forceful enough in making those reminders.
On the other hand, maybe avoiding using the "F" or "S" words in the Terrestrial Forum is simply too difficult. Perhaps I ask too much. Maybe I've become like Juliann, and that requirement is simply too much and people have decided to rebel.
BUT, ASSUMING THAT PEOPLE SIMPLY HAVEN'T "GOTTEN THE MEMO" FOR WHATEVER REASON:
Please do not use the "F" or "S" words, or any of their ubiquitous variants, in the Terrestrial Forum. AND, if you quote someone who used any such word, please delete the word from the quoted material before you hit the "Submit" button.
(This is yet another example of the irony of life: I and others spend all this time and effort to get the perfect message board [in theory] set up, yet I barely have time to enjoy it due to the moderating it requires.)
Thanks to everyone in advance.

My apologies.
I will keep the spicier verbal punctuation in the lower kingdom.
Signed,

I have some blame to wear too. I will try to repent. Something not easy for me. LOL.

Since quoting tons of crap is frowned upon, can I quote little turds instead?

But when you do quote, please include the name of the person you are quoting - at least in the first quote.
DRIVES ME NUTS!

Three cheers for Dr. Shades. I can only hope that the telestial people who post swear words will now go to their rightful forum to use such language. We terestialites need to read language that does not offend us.

I can refrain from using the "F" and "S" words, but I thought this forum was of the PG - PG13 nature? I can see that the "F" word doesn't belong in a PG forum, but I've heard the "S" word plenty of times in PG and PG-13 movies.
If this is a PG - PG13 rated forum, there should be no expectation that cursing won't be used in some of the posts. There is a forum available for the LDS posters who don't wish to be exposed to vulgarity. Also, I submit that sparing usage of the "S" word isn't nearly as vulgar or offensive as the many hateful personal attacks that occur on this forum, though I will happily abide by whatever rules are in place.
Thanks for your hard work, Dr. Shades.

"PG" and "PG-13" are merely the ratings which fall in between "G" and "R." Let's go by the spirit of the law, not the letter of the law.
If this is a PG - PG13 rated forum, there should be no expectation that cursing won't be used in some of the posts.
I expect it. Not because I'm a prude--far from it--but because the community spoke up and said that that's what they wanted.
There is a forum available for the LDS posters who don't wish to be exposed to vulgarity. Also, I submit that sparing usage of the "S" word isn't nearly as vulgar or offensive as the many hateful personal attacks that occur on this forum, . . .
One person's "hateful personal attack" is another person's "brilliantly insightful analysis." The "S" word, on the other hand, is clear-cut, unmistakable, and impossible to misinterpret.
. . . though I will happily abide by whatever rules are in place.
Thank you. That's all I ask.
Thanks for your hard work, Dr. Shades.
You're welcome. Now go enjoy the board!

I covenant before angels and these witnesses here today that I will refrain from swearing inappropriately as directed by Shades.
Now bow your head and say yes (removed expletive).
