Why does this board matter to MAADites and Mo'pologists?

If this board is nothing but a seething pit of vile anti Mormon lies in their view, then why do the MAADites lurk here and some register and post to "correct" things?

I am not quite sure about this reason P. Porter, however, this Discussion Board allows all points of view, unlike the MA&D Discussion Board. The MA&D Discussion Board Moderators loves to ban as many LDS Critics as they can, while loving to give the 'Chief' LDS Apologist D. C. Peterson special protection and special treatment there. However, Dr. Shades and the Moderators here, gives everybody here equal treatment on this Discussion Board.

Are you are a defending Mormon who is 100% active in the Mormon church?

Lol... No, Brackite is a critic---in particular, he is a critic of the Book of Abraham.
In answer to the OP, I would say that part of the reason they are interested is because we say things about them. Another reason is that many of the best critics regularly post here.

The best critics publish books and articles.

That are recognized outside of the FARMite corral.
Dan, who would you consider one of the best critics of LDS Inc?

Nope, I am really Not a defender of Mormonism. (I do still kind of like the Book of Mormon though.) I am only about 20% active in the LDS right now.

Oh my bad.
Hey Scratch, what was that famous quote by Daniel over on the Fboards a few years ago, something about the work of mo'pologists being largely ignored by the secular world? I'd search MAAD, but they are stingy with their search feature, unlike the good Doc of Shady acres :)
One of my favorite threads on ZLMB was when Dan got in a tizzy over a poster using it in his sig...
Do you have that in your rich archives?

OK thanks for that clarification.
Do you like the Book of Mormon like Ray?

Maybe they are into compost.
Seriously, it is better when they post rather than when they lurk. Even if they are just here to see what is being said, they can still give Porter and Mercury heck and defend the Church at the same time - score one for the gipper, so to speak. They should make their voices known.
