And who did "poor" Emma deceive?
Wiki quoting information from Mormon Enigma:
Newell and Avery, in their biography, Mormon Enigma, cite evidence that Emma witnessed several marriages of Joseph Smith, Jr. to plural wives. However, like all those who participated in early Plural Marriages, Emma publicly denied knowledge of her husband's involvement in the practice of polygamy.
Emma was innocent, really? Do you believe that she was unaware of this?
KimberlyAnn wrote:Why would anyone trust his claims that he was a prophet of God?
Emma apparently did. Did she ever deny the Book of Mormon? Did she ever deny that her husband was a true prophet? Did she encourage others to leave the Church because her husband "could not be trusted"?

Maybe sailgirl would like to answer whether she still thinks it's also her church.

But you are not her. Presumably, she can think for herself.

While you share yours with the whole world-wide net.

Way to generalize your inaccurate opinion.
I used to work at the Sears Repair call center (lots of angry customers calling in). If I were a complete idiot, I could say "All, or most, Sears customers are angry, bitter, and they hate Sears.
Or someone could look at yours or pahoran's post and generalize something about how angry and bitter Mormons are.
Take your fights to someone who doesn't mind them (i have a few posters in mind). In other words, pick on someone your own size.

Your posts never made sense to me. And this one doesn't, either.

Ray, what do you mean by this? Who are those that are "in the world"?

What I think he meant to say is 'of the world'.
As Mormons, you're counseled by the leaders to be 'in the world, but not of the world'. Meaning, don't partake of the evils of the world - alcohol, porn, pre-marital sex, masturbation, swearing, lightmindedness, loud laughter, etc.
