Reality of personal revelation concerning things of LDS

Over at the litter box known as MAAD, a poster asked how to answer a question concerning one not receiving a confirming witness about a new apostle.

Charity's response is a perfect example of typical Mormon thought when one falls outside of the accepted status quo:

Charity via MAAD wrote:I don't think the Spirit says "no." He just doesn't say "yes." And any person who gets a stupor of thought had better go back and try again.


Try again until you arrive at the accepted feeling, impression, witness, or thought.

that's classic. The answer has to be "yes" by freaking definition? ah ha ha
