ANNOUNCEMENT: The oft-overlooked weblog feature

Dear MormonDiscussors:

An oft-overlooked feature of this site is the weblog feature. Every registered user gets one; it's merely a question of activating it if you have the desire to maintain your own.

Several weblogs are already up & running (yours truly's included). On the index page of this board, below the list of forums, you'll notice a row of links; these are the weblogs. Take a gander at them; you'll find lots of variety in content and point-of-view.

Your missionary journal is a great idea. I'm kinda jealous you (and Tarski) got called to Japan. I had a hard enough time learning Dutch.

Speaking of blogs. . . Shades, I need you to use your godly Admin powers to delete my blog "Rev's Test Blog".

It should already be marked for deletion.

You don't need my powers at all, 'cause it's already gone.

If you're still seeing it, then perhaps it's visible to you but to no one else.

I do know, however, that the owner of a weblog can delete it at his or her leisure on his or her own.

I banned some people from viewing, and have actually considered banning more.

If I banned you don't take it personally. If you want to see what I'm spewing, and I banned you, pm me and I'll unban you.

But trust me... the chunks are not pretty. ;P

Nor very interesting.

It's an interesting blog. I think it's good therapy.

I wish all the bloggers would take the time to fix their blogs up so that so much spam doesn't get posted......it's quite irritating to hit the "Weblog New" buttons looking to see if any comments have been posted and only see a bunch of spam.....argh.
