That's may be true, but a first generation Apostle, disagrees with you. I don't have thejournal reference in front of me, I will see if I can find it and post the reference.

But, tell me was that the only thing you found fault with in the cartoon?

The Hanna Barbara people should have stuck with Yogi. I do like the ominous music though.

Obviously there were other falsehoods int he film, but I just wanted to make special attention to that falsehood.

I stoped watching at the end of the cartoon, not wanting to hear the rantings of obvious idiots.

One tihng to point out is that the Fathers Name is not Elohim. That is simply a title we use in the church for the Father, but it is not His name.

Also, Elohim is not Adam, as they say in the film. That is not church doctrine. Alot of the statement made in the film consist of speculative notions many church members have, not Church doctrine. There is no scripture or authoritative statements made that say Christ was married or had children, merely alot of educated speculation.

Also they say that much of the Doctrine originated with Joseph Smith. Smith was the prophet of the Restoration, not so much a revealer of new truths.

Also I know of no statement regarding Joseph Smith being my final Judge on my day of judgement. I have heard it implied that some of the judgements will be delegated. Perhaps the Prophet of our day will be my Judge. I don't know. Our Lord promised his Twelve apostolic ministers in Jerusalem that when he came in glory, they also should"sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." (Matt 19:28; Luke 22:30) "it hath gone forth in a firm decree, by the will of the Father, that mine apostles, the Twelve which were with me in my ministry at Jerusalem, shal stand at my right hand at the day of my coming in a pillar of fire, being clothed with robes of righteousness, with crowns upon their heads, in glory even as I am, to judge the whole house of Israel, even as many as have loved me and kept my commandments, and none else." ( D&C 29:12)

To the Nephite Apostles he stated "ye shall be judges of this people, according to the judgment which I shall give unto you, which shall be just. Therefore what manner of men ought ye to be? Verily I say unto you, even as I am." (3 Nephi 27:27; Morm 3:19)

Does this authority continue with our Modern Apostles? I don't see why not. I guess we'll see.

You're right Gaz- they totally misquoted D&C 135:3

3 Joseph Smith, the aProphet and bSeer of the Lord, has done more, csave Jesus only, for the salvation of men in this world, than any other man that ever lived in it. In the short space of twenty years, he has brought forth the Book of Mormon, which he translated by the gift and power of God, and has been the means of publishing it on two continents; has sent the dfulness of the everlasting gospel, which it contained, to the four quarters of the earth; has brought forth the revelations and commandments which compose this book of Doctrine and Covenants, and many other wise documents and instructions for the benefit of the children of men; gathered many thousands of the Latter-day Saints, founded a great city, and left a fame and name that cannot be slain. He lived great, and he died great in the eyes of God and his people; and like most of the Lord’s anointed in ancient times, has sealed his mission and his works with his own eblood; and so has his brother Hyrum. In life they were not divided, and in death they were not fseparated!
