Trick to Help Avoid the Link Issue with MAD

Hey guys!

Skippy came up with a nifty little work-around to the MAD link issue:

Easy enough to work around, if you use Firefox (which everybody should!). Just enter about:config in your address bar, then filter for network.http.sendReferrerHeader and set the value to 0. This turns off the header referring function, so that a site you navigate to via a link does not know where you originated from (i.e., if you click on a MAD link here, MAD doesn't know you're coming from this board so it doesn't give you the stoopid message).

It worked for me, but all of the links in the past have worked as well.

Does this say something about Juliann's hatred of me? The only way I can access MAD is when I'm using a hotel's internet.

In this case, your IP address is banned. No way around this unless you get software to mask your IP address (or find an anonymous portal that hasn't already been banned).
