God will not stand for such persecution and bigotry of his one true church. Don't these people know the laws of god supersede the laws of the land? They will all be hewn down for it one day.
Praise to the man who communed with jehovah
Jesus annointed him prophet and seer

After reading the posts on a similar thread on MAD, you'd think Jeffs could get sustained as the new prophet after the hinkster bites the dust.

BCSPACE:Of course logically, one can't be an accomplice to something that never happened or has been proven to happen. Therefore, despite the fact that I oppose child marriages in this day and age, I find myself in support of Jeffs against an unjust system. Determine there was a rape (nonstatutory) and I will switch my support.
STRUCTURECOP:I didn't want to see this case get a guilty verdict. I was hoping the jury would see through the tactic and just let the prosecution try weak case after weak case until the investigators could finally come up with some evidence of a real crime.
I guess they ain't too bright there in Hurrican.
Also, any further information on the juror that was dismissed?
EMELIZA:Wow. I didn't see that one coming. I would like to see Jeff's rot by all means, but the case was really weak and just didn't really make a ton of sense.
SOLARPOWERD:I find it extremely disturbing that a jury would convict in a case like this. It makes me wonder just how many innocent people are sitting in prisons, because other juries have convicted in cases that are just as poor.
thestyleguy: this was on the first page. It's about 50/50 now with some people saying the girl was truely a victim.

Although I think that "rape as an accomplice" was not really the best term to describe Jeffs' crime, there isn't really another appropriate term for it that doesn't interfere with the "freedom of religion".
Determine there was a non-statutory rape...? Whooptiedoo! The girl was 14 freaking years old! A freaking PROPHET tells her to get married and submit herself to her husband mind, body and soul (and she's not the only one he's told that; one only has to listen to the tape from the Alta Academy)! "But marriage does not constitute submission to rape!" Give me a break.
Poor innocent Warren Jeffs. He's just like the hundreds and hundreds of other innocent people out there who got convincted in "cases just as poor" (rolls eyes). Such concern over fairness and justice from people who are quite willing to do whatever they can so that homosexuals never get equal and just treatment in our society.
