Fasting for Runtu's Daughter

I am fasting today for Runtu's daughter in hopes that the doctors will be able to come up with a diagnosis.

I invite anyone who would like to join me to do likewise.

Your family will be in my prayers today, Runtu.

With all due respect to Runtu, I'm pretty sure starving yourself isn't going to help.

Thank you, Liz. I suspect that, no matter the efficacy of fasting, that much good will has to have some effect. :)

I've been fasting for days...... and when I do so today I'll actually think about it!

However Liz, if I had a jupiter talisman, seer stone, and a goat I'd bleed the goat in the shape of a pentagram and then have barbecued goat chops.

I will fast my mid-morning oatmeal snack for your daughter tomorrow. Hopefully, it will please the beautiful oatmeal god, and bring peace and health to her and your family. Although, to do it right, i'm not sure if i just need to abstain from eating the oatmeal, or offer it as a burnt offering. I must pray to her tonight to receive revelation to clarify. (i don't want to f this one up).

In all seriousness though, I hope everything turns out right. It sounds like you've got her with some of the best docs. in the world, so she should be in good hands. (i had a baby there for 2 weeks, and they took great care of him. And ironically, they were the first recipients of my no-longer end of year tithing check - damn, it feels good to give to a worthwhile cause).

Just be with her. Read to her. Sing to her. Make sure she knows how much you treasure her.
