Bob Jones endorses Mitt:

Some other leader of a 6000 person Church endorsed him today. Dobson is getting closer. He was on Fox stating he will not support Gulianni, Thompson or McCain. As I predicted when if it come to Hillary or Mitt the Mormon the EVs will jump on board. Since the other top candidates on the republican ticket are not passing the abortion and gay marriage issue they are turning to the Mormon.

This is actually pretty important. The Evangelical Christians own the primaries, so overcoming objections for them is huge for Mitt. He has a long way to go, but lessening Evangelical opposition makes his winning the nomination that much less a pipe dream.

Mitt was really clever for having that abortion "change of heart" first. Now if any other top candidate wants to sucker up the evangelicals with a sincere change of heart, they'll look like flip-floppers and me-tooers. It's going to help Mitt that he thought of it first. Good strategy.

Let's assume Mitt gets elected President. I wonder if he's realized that means he won't be able to go to the temple for 4 years? And everyone will know what he pays in tithing?

hey maybe he will be happy not to go the the temple for four, or eight, years. The benefit I get out of temple attendance it to pray and ponder the things of a spiritual realm. After hundreds of temple sessions it is really rather boring. Ack!! I am sure someone will jump down my throat for that!

Somehow I just can't see him in the temple, surrounding by secret service men.

he would likely be the easiest president to protect as he could just have all secret service where black suits and black ray- ban wayfers and he could wear the same thing and no one would know who the president is as he would just melt in.
