under that definition, every church except the LDS church is a whore. am I right? you write about rabid anti-mormons when maybe they don't like their church called a whore.

I object to absolute terms such as these. From a demagogue trying to bamboozle the masses -- say, G.W. Bush or R. Limbaugh -- we can expect this kind of rhetoric. Now you are telling me even angels speak in such terms? How sad for you.

If the pure love of Christ were defined as a common thread of good people within all stations in life, I could agree with the verse. In other words, I can see how the church described is made up of children of Christ from all walks of life, regardless as to whether they are even cognizant of Christ.

not just the the Catholic church but every church not LDS is the church of the devil - the great whore. We need to do something about that - first polygamy, then discrimination and now the whore thingy.
