Cinepro in Trouble?

Post by _Gadianton »

Cinepro was instructed to take a break from FAIR/MAD for offering this insight:

Mormons are also Christians in the same way that FLDS are Mormons. And Christians don't want Mormons to be called Christians for the same reason Mormons don't want FLDS to be called Mormons.

A great tagline if you ask me. Now, Cinepro did post one comment after this today, so it's up for grabs as to whether he is queued. But C has an extensive history and reputation on FAIR, and he doesn't post here. In fact, it's hard to get him to join in on the big horse laugh when an apostate lays a doosie on the bumbling apologists. Yet, throw that all aside, and queue the guy. The mods at FAIR/MAD i have to say, are consistently the d.u.m.b.e.s.t moderators I've ever encountered. There are moderaters who are more stringent. It's not the tyranny. It's what flies right over their heads on a daily basis.

p.s.

PP, my wife let me hit the vodka tonight, it's good to be back.

Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.

LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.

I tried some Vodka and grape juice tonight. Very good and very fast ;) I think I found the secret ingredient to Long Island Iced Tea!

That is good sig line fodder, Gad.

Also you should try equal parts Cynar/Vodka/Seltzer. It's the Drink That Has No Name and its quite delicious and potent.

I love that line!

Hey, does anyone know if Mormons consider the FLDS as christians?

Sheesh. What a tame, non-issue observation to ding Cinepro for.

I mean, they don't actually disagree with what he said, do they? It seems like they're just dinging him for reminding them of something they all agree with but don't like to be reminded of. . . which is a lame thing for a moderator to do.

Am I right?

Cinepro was suspended. I don't know what was wrong with his comment, but it riled one of the mods. I thought he made a good point, actually. Then he used a sockpuppet--L.RonHubbard, to start another thread.

Cinepro take a break. Come back after your 3 day suspension. Your Hubbard account will be closed.

I didn't think it was out of line at all, but then you never know how some people are going to read things.

Runtu, I'm wondering if bringing up the FLDS church and comparing it to LDS is becoming in their minds a violation of Godwins' Law(as interpreted at MADB) to the moderators. They seem to think it is extreme and inflammatory. I think they are wrong and just making more work for themselves, but apparently they don't agree.

Yeah, that's how I think they read it, though I don't think it was intended that way. It seemed pretty innocuous. Of course, what do I know? I'm suspended.

Nothing riles up the mods like making a good point they can't rebut. They love talking about the Book of Mormon production, Book of Abraham, adieu, polygamy, MMM, etc. because they have quick apologetic answers for that stuff. Cinepro has a nasty habit of making them look at things from a new perspective, and they don't have quick and easy answers for a lot of his stuff.
