Seriously...glad you're posting, and that your home and family is safe. My brother lives in San Diego, and he said that the fires were pretty bad.

Yeah, they were bad. A friend of mine and his wife, who lived in Escondido, were killed in them.

Oh good god, Shades. That is so sad. I'm sorry to hear about this, especially in light of the special place he and his wife held in your heart.

What a terrible tragedy. I'm really glad Bob got through it OK. I'm so sorry for your friends.
