Voldemort = He Who Must Not Be Named = Kevin?

An odd post by Pacman on MAD:

Charity...empty Your Mailbox!, A personal thread that I need open just long enough to post...

Concerning Voldemort,

Are you serious?! Somehow, that's not much of a disgusting surprise. Disgusting yes...surprise, no. I find it terribly interesting that his 'revelation' came after Brent mopped the floor with him. Typical apostate...tie everything to pride, and great is the fall thereof.

Now, it appears that he's either full of himself (check), or his Bishop's a bit confused between "smart" and arrogantly (and oft incoherently) outspoken.

And a "cultural" Mormon? What's that? I can't think of anything more aggravating that being "culturally" wrong, too.

Personally, I bet his US leaders told him to cease and desist, he refused, and was likely put on probation (or worse); then to to save his pride he took off south of the border. I know that my mission didn't have computer access to check membership records like they do in the US. I bet he's using that to his advantage to fly under the radar. Chances are that if the local leaders knew that Voldemort was hiding under Professor Quirrell's proverbial hat, they'd not be so hasty to homage his intellect. But that's just my supposition.

Thanks for the update...
P.S. Where's he sounding off at?

PacMan

Even if it's not directly addressing someone in particular here, I guess it's at least interesting to know that the members on MAD engage in gossip about folks like this. Nice. At least we do it openly here (and if folks wanna defend themselves, of course that's encouraged too). o_o

Of course they gossip. I had heard long ago that the little email group they have (or used to have, not sure if it still exists since the board went MAD) was the primary vehicle for gossiping about people behind their backs.

Pacman has referred to Kevin as Voldemort before, here:

http://www.mormonapologetics.org/index. ... 5955&st=20

Ironic, given that charity recently made this accusation on MDB and then claimed she was NOT talking about Kevin. In fact, she insisted that she couldn't possibly be talking about Kevin. Now it appears she is persisting in the gossip behind his back, and Pacman couldn't resist using this as an excuse to broadcast her juicy tidbit to the world.

This is disgusting, frankly.

I've heard the folks (gals) over at MAD gossip about stuff. But for the record....I am totally hunky. :-P

By the way, in the thread I just linked to PacMan alludes to the possibility that Brent embrassed Kevin and that's why he apostasized. I wonder if this speculation was the source for charity's gossip, and now she is feeding it back to him in exaggerated form?

This is only further proof, for me, that charity has been lying when she insists she wasn’t referring to me last week when she alluded to some apologist turned critic who was embarrassed in a debate. Everyone told her she was out of line and she then started denying she was referring to me.

Now, at MAD charity apparently sent pacman a note to come save Coggins from himself.

Obviously this is alluding to an encounter I mention every once in a while, whereby Brent made me look stupid for relaying the usual apologetic fluff. It is funny how they concede that Brent "mopped the floor" with me, but they don’t seem to realize he mopped the floor with me because I was using their arguments.

Now, it appears that he's either full of himself (check), or his Bishop's a bit confused between "smart" and arrogantly (and oft incoherently) outspoken.

Charity apparently mentioned to him what I recently said about my bishop calling me smart.

And a "cultural" Mormon? What's that? I can't think of anything more aggravating that being "culturally" wrong, too.

I said I was a cultural Mormon too. Yep, it’s got me written all over it. But the plot thickens even still…

Personally, I bet his US leaders told him to cease and desist, he refused, and was likely put on probation (or worse); then to to save his pride he took off south of the border.

I currently live in Brazil, south of the border.

I made it known that I am a professor here at the University of Brasilia.

Thanks for the update... P.S. Where's he sounding off at?

Where pacman probably doesn't have the guts to wander.

So charity, do you still deny that you are rumor-mongering about me? I called you a liar for denying it and I stand by it. Pacman’s post, revealing your behind the scenes gossiping, is a precious gift from the both of you. Thanks for the early Christmas.

This is just too rich.

How does charity propose to wriggle her way out of this?

She insisted she was always referring to some mysterious "other" who she refused to name; for his sake of course.

How charitable of her.

Look forward to seeing two things happen:

1) Charity disappears for good
2) Someone pops up at MAD claiming to be an apologist turned critic, who is a cultural Mormon professor living somewhere in Mexico, whose bishop said he was smart. Then charity can say, "you see, I was referring to him!"

Is there really any room for doubt that we're truly dealing with idiots here?

Dishonest ones at that.

I don't guess PacMan got the memo to the effect that gossip is typically done behind the scenes--rather than on the MADB board proper.

You gotta love his enthusiasm for apologetic intrigue, though. Hope they don't dump him from the clique secondary to his indiscretion. He's obviously really into this sort of clandestine, proprietary, LDS-gossip thing they've got going on over there.

At least here at MDB everyone is nasty to their intended victim's e-face.

You know that charity would not acknowledge her own stupidity in this (or any) case. She's become quite adept at the drive-by superiority post, but can't seem to back up her assertions.

I'm actually surprised that the post remained up (although closed), and is still up although MAD folks must have noticed by now that they've been exposed. Seems careless of the mods. Oh, or maybe that was the point? (<-- that should be read quite sarcastically, by the way). Or maybe they didn't realize that charity had told some big fibs over here that this contradicts? Either way, bad form all around.

No kidding.

What a bunch of wussies. Charity only pretends to be sweet and innocent to your face.

And yes beastie, you are right about that place. It has always been a hotbed for behind the scenes gossiping. I was on that e-list for a couple of years, and I ate it up too. Now I am sick from it.

I don't know what's funnier. The fact that coggins needs charity to go run for aide, or the fact that these nimrods are too stupid to know when they are stepping all over each others feet. I could hear charity swearing at pacman as she read this post, along with her prayer that nobody from this forum read it before it would be removed. Thanks so much for this Skippy, it really made my night. I saw this thread but I didn't bother to click on it. I'm glad you did.
