Somehow reality TV got to into a conversation with my mom the other day (I think the fallout of the writer's strike was the segway), and she launched into a rant about how sucky Marie's dancing has been and how she doesn't deserve to be on the show (like any of them do!).

Perhaps Marie is just another person forced into being a parent by her religion and family.
She has never been able to handle her life. Parenthood was the last thing she wanted or needed.
Why is her son popping pills? Probably the same reason his mother does.
Hey Marie, let up on your son about being a good Mormon boy, let him be himself.. perhaps that has something to do with this? Sounds too familiar eh sister Osmond?
