I'm officially offensive

Over on the other board, someone posted this:
You have a small sampling of people who have left the Church. I personally know many who have left the Church but take no vested interest in openly ridiculing, mocking, distorting, misrepresenting, attacking, lamenting, their former faith. I see them in their everyday patterns of life, away from the glow of a computer monitor. They move along and find other interests. I personally know many who become somewhat Universalistic, or agnostic, and spend their time on Sunday's going 4-wheeling or snowmobiling. They love their kids, struggle with finances, get raises, some get fired, others promoted. They don't spend countless hours trying to destroy the faith of others. Why? What makes the difference?
In response, I posted this:
Top ten benefits of becoming an anti-Mormon:
10. Medical, dental, and 401(k).
9. You get invited to better parties.
8. If you live in Utah, your neighbors leave you alone because they're afraid of you.
7. Satan makes a mean barbecued brisket.
6. General Conference is much more fun when you're hanging on every word, waiting to pounce on yet more evidence that Mormons aren't real Christians.
5. Every day is "casual Friday."
4. Only one job requirement: skill at distorting, mocking, attacking, and so forth.
3. You're less likely to get injured whining on a message board than you are 4-wheeling or snowmobiling.
2. Excellent job security.
1. You have the facts on your side. ;)
I can't figure out what's so offensive about this, but it offended someone.

Yeah, I originally posted my God's Top 10 Priorities list on MAD, but knew it would be highly offensive there. So I moved it here.

Yeah, but that list actually was kind of offensive. ;)

Mormons have an affinity for taking offense. It is part of their persona. They will find ANY shred of offensive and magnify it. This helps sustain their belief of being a member of the only church that Satan HATES.
Remember that they firmly believe that they are on Satan's sh!tlist and he will always postpone sponsorship of all other evil provocations just to destroy a member of the ONLY true church on earth, which is THE only threat to his kingdom!

How about this for a response?
I personally know many who remain in the Church but take no vested interest in openly praising, promoting, preaching, discussing, defending, proselytizing, apologizing for their current faith. I see them in their everyday patterns of life, away from the glow of a computer monitor. They move along and find other interests. I personally know many who become somewhat open minded, or tolerant, and spend their time during the week doing and talking about things non-Mormon related. They love their kids, struggle with finances, get raises, some get fired, others promoted. They don't spend countless hours trying to buttress the faith of others. Why? What makes the difference?

I thought about it for a while last night, and I concluded that maybe it's time to leave MADB alone for a while. I've bent over backward to be kind and evenhanded over there, and yet I'm still treated by some people as if I'm Ed Decker lite. Maybe beastie's right about the impossibility of having a civil conversation with believers. Sigh.

PP's right here. Its all about Satan's s***list and being number one on it.
The history of persecution mania is interesting though---I'm actually working on it.

My favorite part of LOAP's reply to me, seen above, is that he tells me I just have a small sampling of people on the internet (GASP) and then cites his small sample of people he personally knows.
*ding ding ding* Winner of the gosh darnit I'm a silly willy award!
