science keeps going forward leaps and bounds while religion seems to be on the defense - at least now:

Religion always survives. I'd never bet against it.

Ya know, I think there might be a point here. I read someplace (too lazy to look it up -- so "CFR" me!) that there is an inverse correlation between religious conviction and education. The more educated cultures are less religious. It will take much time to change though, as many remain members for family reasons and tradition, but they "believe" much less than before.

I think it's an interesting advancement indeed, and perhaps can lead the politicians who are opposed to the research further in the direction of allowance.

Yeah... religions are like cockroaches. You squash one and two more show up in its place. They're also ugly, and only a crazy person wants anything to do with one.

Hey, in some third world countries, cockroaches are delicacies.

But, yeah, they are pretty ugly. And the one for two thingy is not true in Japan. It's more like one for ten. Insane sometimes!

Who can forget Aum Shinrykyo and the prophet Asahara?

Just that wacko religion alone spawned off another twenty sub-cult groups.

A dime a dozen over there. Yeah, like cockroaches, for sure!

You spend your time here....are you sure you're not slowly going crazy from repeated exposure?
