The Great White Exmo

Now listen everybody,
To what I got to say,
There's hope for Apostates,
At least that's what they say.

Well the Internet's the place,
For the slander and the swill,
The antis and the exmos,
The faith of all to kill.

The exmos need a place,
To satiate their thirst,
They always take their pound of flesh, baby,
They love to do their worst.

Yeah, the Beastie cried,
But then came our Mr. Scratch,
With his high and empty head,
He couldn't see past his bitterness.

And from the one true Church he fled,
It was sad...It was sad.
Oh yeah...yes indeed.
Oh yes.

They read books by Brent Lee Metcalf, baby,
They read Dialog and sigh,
See, the exmos and the antis,
Are the one's we call the "brights".

The Brights, they need to think,
They're smart and very wry,
They take the pound they need, baby,
But deep inside they cry. yeah.

And now comes the great one,
With his deep and hidden needs,
He can't see past his bitterness,
And he's obsessed with DCP.
All of this is SO sad.

Then I looked above the squalid fens
And strong faith did I see,
I think that FARMS is comin' around to defend the faith, baby,
I think...I think they're comin' around wth the SCMC.

Boys...

I said, above the squalid fens,
And anti-Mormon wails,
The Brethren spoke the truth, baby,
NOW LET'S WATCH,
THE EXMOS CHASE THEY'RE TAILS

LOOK OUT!!!! LOOK OUT!!!!!!!

Well, Scratch rallied all the troops,
And led them to Salt Lake
He's the Great White Exmo
And a final stand he'lll make.

The Great White Exmo
Comin' around to sneer at BKP
Well, look out here he comes.

The Great White Exmo, baby.
All his degrees in tow,
Look out, here he comes,
His credibility's low.

Blighting everything in sight.
Yeah,yeah,yeah.....

The truth can, indeed at times, be pathetic to contemplate.

Actually, I thought his name was Brent Lee Goldencalf, so I'm thankful for the correction.

How odd that Coggins has time to construct another poem, yet can't respond to this thread:

I'll respond to your pseudo-sophisticate attempts at an intellectual critique of the Church when I feel like it and when it appears that, just perhaps, you are willing to take just a little closer look at the possible weaknesses of your own positions.

Dartagnon won't do it, but who knows, perhaps some of the Brights here may be amenable to a serious discussion amongst intellectual peers.

Or, perhaps not.

LOL! Pointing out what a hypocrite YOU, Coggins, are, is a "pseudo-sophisticate attempt at an intellectual critique of the church"???

Gee, if only I had the smarts you have, coggins!!

I'm letting you think you pointed out that which you have claimed here, but it simply remains for me to disarticulate your rudimentary attempts at philosophical discourse at a future date. I may or may not get to that rather pedestrian task presently.

You know, most converts to Mormonism are regarded as "apostates" by someone. One person's apostate is another person's truthseeker.

Coggins,

You don't even have to be a "pseudo-sophisticate" to understand your hypocrisy. Here are the facts -

1. I stated that if the Mormon God turned out to be factual, I would not worship, respect, or love him.

2. You responded that my statement indicated pride and hubris, and the unwillingness to be held accountable for my choices.

3. You admitted that you would have a "falling out" with God if the EV God turned out to be factual.

So, unless you also label your own statement as indicating pride and hubris, and the unwillingness to be held accountable for your choices, that you are such an obvious hypocrite that the most unsophisticated could immediately recognize it.

by the way, I'm going to bring this up on every thread you create. I'm tired of you running off when you've been cornered.
