Now I've heard everything

This is from an Evangelical on another board:
I believe that merely owning, even if not reading, a Book of Mormon will lead evil spirits to gravitate toward you. Sin and blasphemous objects have the effect of attracting evil spirits (metaphorically-speaking). You might say it's only for research against the cult, but the book itself has an aura of evil about it. If you're going to use one, use it at the library (let them have keep the evil spirits ). Also speaking or writing the name of a false god may attract the same.
Has anyone noticed strange paranormal occurrences in their homes since they brought home a Book of Mormon?

Yeah, those inspired dreams and powerful revelations have me convinced there is something very non-mundane about that book. More as it develops......

LOL!!
Although, on the other hand, aren't 'anti-Mormon' books supposed to do the same thing?

They're safe as long as you enclose the material in tin foil and put it in an iron box at least an inch thick.....incidentally trapping the demons who piggybacked.

Well, the first time I brought home a Sunstone mag for my father to read (he asked to see it), I left it on the "coffee" table and a couple weeks later he told me that he had felt a bad spirit from it and never touched it.
Mormons (some of them) are just as strange.

I'd say the same for Non-Mormons as well.

During the greatest two months of my life - MTC and Ohio - my "companion" and I went over to see a lady that he had left a Book of Mormon with and asked her to read it. She met us at the door and said to wait there for a moment. She came back and she had it wrapped in cellophane. We kind of looked at each other like 'what the hell'. She gave it back to him and said she would pray for us and closed the door. (can't remember but she likely latched and dead bolted the door too)

Surely only demons could have turned me into a secular humanist.
Wait a second...

It's the existential demons that do that. They don't believe that they exist and are more than happy to tell you that they themselves are lies.
