When Was the Last MA&D Banning?

Perhaps it's just me, but I seem to have noticed quite a significant "cut back" in the number of warnings, admonitions, and bannings on the aptly named MADboard. Is this indicative of a kind of "panic mode" over there, i.e., a fear that the board, sans critics, is drifting ever-closer towards irrelevance?
Who was the last critic to be banned?

I suggest this board go into 'panic mode' and start banning and warning people or it may fall even farther into irrelevance.
Edit: Haven't you wanted them to be more tolerant for a long time. Then when they do you impute foul motives to them for doing so. Odd that. You'd almost suspect you were biased ;)

This board seems to be more of a social club than a Mormon Discussions board. I'm not saying that to be demeaning.
I can't recall the last banning, probably Nephi; but his was self-imposed.

Too bad the free speech we enjoy here isn't more popular. Oh, well ....

Free Speech is falling into irrelevancy too. It was inevitable.

Speaking as a Moderator, I can assure you that we are not in any type of "panic mode" and are very pleased with the direction of the board at the present time. :)
Speaking as Liz responding to Scratch's position....Of course, he's biased! Our board is a much better board! Right, Scratchy? :)

Why? What do you think that is supposed to prove? The real barometer on MAD has always been the activities of the moderating team.

I think you misread my post, Nehor. I was suggesting that the aptly named MADboard has eased up on the critics because the board was becoming dangerously close to being the sort of "sacrament meeting social club" that LoaP referred to.

An intriguing point. Perhaps it is not so much the mods that are being lackadaisical, but the critics? I.e., the critics need to be a bit more aggressive?

That's because we don't ban people here.

I don't know. The last time Juliann got riled up and made sweeping snide comments about exmos, Chris Smith and I got suspended and threatened with banning. I'm "one post away" from banning, I'm told.

The mods over there do seem to be treading more lightly these days. I can't help but wonder whether the recent affair with Momus suddenly disappearing from their rosters has anything to do with it.
