What was that about religious tests? This could sink his campaign even further after it comes out he is the one behind the Mormon push polls.

I say the next president should not allow any Mormons in his cabinet. If its good enough for romney to exclude muslims I guess its cool to exclude Mormons. I think I just heard the sound of Romney shooting his other foot off.

On the other hand, I suspect there are millions of voters who agree with him.

You should at least note that Romney said he never said this.
The thing is based on what one Muslim said Romney believes.
Romney denies it.

In the end its my belief that Romney was behind the "anti-mormon" polls. Although romney spun this incident very well, the clear fact that he would judge his cabinet based on a quota system seems like SUCH a dodge, something concocted with haste.

Again you're basing this on what one Muslim has said. Something Romney denies.
What he actually said is this: "I fill responsibilities based upon people's merit and their skill. And, sometimes, it includes many ethnic minorities. And other times, it includes different minorities."

No, that's what Romney SAID he said after he knew that those at a private dinner got pissed at his two faced racist behavior. And he was a Human being, not just a muslim.
Why does the first sentence in your reply smack of bias?
Lets suppose we replace
Muslim with Evangelical Christian:
Again you're basing this on what one Evangelical Christian has said

No, that's what Romney SAID
Then provide a citation. You're still taking the word of a disgruntled Muslim, without anything else to back it. Romney flat out denies saying it, but that isn't good enough for you huh? Bias anyone?
I highly doubt
any presidential candidate would be so stupid as to say something like this.
Why does the first sentence in your reply smack of bias?
Yea, I'm such the Mormon defender aren't I?

I am not American and to be quite frank I couldn't care less who is on your cabinet, but as America has some sort of ripple effect on us I will say that if your Romney guy is not going to allow Muslims on board then he should allow no religious persons on board either. Also not all Muslims are radical. Infact a lot of Muslims are really nice.

This is idiotic, and I don't particularly care for Romney.
Good on dartagn.

Why do you keep referring to the man as a (now disgruntled) Muslim? Are you going to start looking for him to become a Terrorist next?
Do you get drunk at your local Rebel Flag toting bar and go hunting for "damn queers" to beat up too?
And you are not defending Mormonism, you are defending the side who does not want to be seen as Xenophobic but in actualiy is by nature xenophobic.
What is the more likely story:
The deranged christian-cannibalizing follower of the false god Mohamed is attacking a US interest and one must defend a known spin doctor OR Romney said something bad about Islam, tried to cover it up and spun the incident via the hearsay inherent in the affair.
I think it is more likely Romney thought he was playing to the typical republican crowd of whitebread christian/Mormon/conservitave asshats you find trolling airport bathrooms for blowjobs and he had a "ill NEVER hire one of those damn ragheads" moments.
