Just warming up; something from the vault...

THE SOUND OF EXMOS

THE HILLS ARE ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF EXMOS
WITH STORIES WE'VE HEARD FOR A THOUSAND YEARS
SO DEPRESSINGLY TRITE, ARE THE SOUNDS OF EXMOS
iTS HARD TO STAY SOBER EACH TIME I HEAR

MY STOMACH SQUIRMS LIKE THE WORMS THAT CONCERN
THEMSELVES WITH THE FRUIT IN THE TREES
THE HOWLS IN MY BOWLS ARE LIKE AN F-16 ON THE BREEZE
I LAUGH LIKE A BROOK WHEN THEY TRIP AND FALL OVER FACTS ON THE WAY
THEY CACKLE LIKE HENS, WHEN THEY OUGHT TO BE LEARNING TO PRAY

I GO TO THE HILLS, FOR THE SOUND OF EXMOS
I KNOW I WILL HEAR WHAT I'VE HEARD BEFORE
MY BANDWIDTH WILL SWELL, WITH THE SOUND OF EXMOS
AND I'LL LAUGH ONCE MORE

Coggins, each of your lines must contain the SAME number of syllables throughout! Not only that, but the stressed syllables must occur at the SAME intervals!

Meter and rhyme, dude, meter and rhyme!

I will decide how may syllables there shall be. I will control the horizontal, I will control the vertical.

Yeah, but then it'll cease being either songwriting or poetry.

Totino, the Italian Lamanite.
