Sad....

Post by _jskains »

Thought I would make my final comment. I wondered if you all still acted the same and since ZLMB died, I went to see where everyone went. Sadly, people are still angry, hateful, and bigotted against anyone that doesn't agree with their position. I really wonder if any of you honestly read your own filth? "Mormons are this, and Mormons are that". "All Mormons are idiots and lower scum". "Mormons are brainwashed and stupid", etc. etc. etc.

Even some of your signatures are nasty, yet I am told I came in with guns blazing? No, I presented two concepts I thought could be interesting, only to see them sidetracked by a large crowd of hungry Mormonhaters. Some of you seriously need help, badly.

This isn't "Mormon Discussions" it is "Mormon Thrashings".

Whatever... I just don't have the time I used to, so I am making this quick and very short. Heck, this board is worse then ZLMB was. Vampires all abound!

ZLMB died?

This is worth pondering, I'll grant you that.

Vampires only suck blood at night, but this board never sleeps.

Remember, the reason the sun never sets on the MormonDiscussions empire is because God doesn't trust the residents here in the dark.

On a more serious note jskains, you could always limit your participation to the Celestial forum. I would hate to lose you just because the terrestrial sphere isn't to your taste.

My dear jskains:

It seems that you have a bad habit of suffering emotional meltdowns each December (er, well, at least this Dec. and the last one...) Remember this?:

jskains wrote: I offered my time, finances, and resources to FAIR recently, only to basically be told to go screw myself. I guess all that gospel teachings like forgiveness doesn't apply to FAIR folks.

I was a meber of there list when I did have a crisis of faith in a very complicated time in my life. Apparently my questions rubbed some people the wrong way and now I am a permanent black mark on their records.

[...]
That rejection by FAIR was a bit hurtful and I think goes to show a bit of elitism that exists with them. I had a crisis of faith. Sorry, but it helped me evolve. So I asked some questions of concern on the FAIR list, so they kicked me off. And this all happened several years ago!!! Guess they aren't bound by the rules of the Gospel like fellowshipping, love, kindness, understanding, forgiveness, etc.

[...]

I have learned, however, not to be the type of Mormon who is close minded to others, expecially those who also have a honest crisis of faith. I am open to the bigger questions, allowing for a member who is seeking to ask SOMEONE who can listen and understand. Many LDS seem to think asking questions is somehow evil or dangerous. This "Milk before the Meat" concept is somewhat abused. There is a point when one is done with the Milk and is ready for the MEAT!

Perhaps God has brought me on this quest so I can help others in a real-life setting. I hope so. I think there are LDS who have been abused by the close-minded and then those who are further abused by self-rightous Christians who have nothing better to do than spread hate and discontent about a group of people they don't agree with. Being betrayed by those we trust often hurts the most, so I think many Ex-LDS run to the nasty Mainstream "cult" watchgroups as a lessor of two evils.
(emphasis added)

Well, it seems that you have not been following your own advice. Moreover, you appear to be equally skilled at pissing off both sides of the Internet Mormon divide. The folks at FAIR think you are an emotionally unstable whack-job, whereas many posters here think you are an illogical knucklehead. And yet, through it all, you appear to be blaming everyone but yourself. Perhaps it is high time for some honest self-assessment, eh, Josh?

That is why it is childish to cross-post between boards. It is out of context.

But adult behavior isn't a norm here is it?

Not in the terrestrial or telestial forums it isn't. Please try the Celestial Forum
