Because of the
bullcrap answers the LDS church gives:
FOXNews.com compiled a list of 21 questions representing some widely held beliefs and misconceptions about Mormonism and posed them to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
"Many of these questions are typically found on anti-Mormon blogs or Web sites which aim to misrepresent or distort Mormon doctrines," the Church said in a statement. "Several of these questions do not represent ... any serious attempt to depict the core values and beliefs of its members.
lol. Misrepresenting and distorting is exactly what the church is doing with these bogus answers.
brigham young must be turning in his grave...

Don't forget answers like Charity here on this board, who responded to the fact that the LDS Corporation had once again changed the Book of Mormon:
That has always been the meaning. But becasue people are so ignorant about genealogy, they changed it to make it more understandable to the less educated (in matters of genealogy) masses.
I don't know that we teach that.

Oh yes, we critics and apostates with decades of activity in the Mormon Church really, truly don't know anything about it and its doctrines.
I'm still waiting for a mainstream media to do a real story about Mormonism that goes deeper than citing a PR Flak's spin. The media's lack of curiosity is curious in itself.

uh, no. critics are relentless because the church refuses to give the straight-up truth. Instead, they distort and misrepresent.

While I don't blame the church for not wanting to say - yes, men will become God's of their own worlds with numerous wives who will produce the children for that world - why won't anyone admit to it? That's certainly the information that I've been given. The whereabouts of Kolob are also known.
