Mormon males: a powder keg?

At my old job some would say I use to get angry pretty quickly. We saw Mitt go instantly after that radio show host when he was questioned about the Church. I have not read the Steve Benson article but saw a comment that he seems to be angry. I have written about this recently and I think that being brought up from birth through age 21 in the church can create an angry male. First you attack them with a knife at birth. Then, your parents choose your religion at age 8 which requires you to perform until you decide to stop whether it's age 12, 21 or 50. Your non-member friends can not fathom really why you are asked if you are morally clean, why you go to church just about everyday while you are a teenager and then spend two years of your life selling your religion. Can this create a powder keg ready to go? Some people say people at MAD show a great deal of anger. I would agree.

I do not think it is the LDS church so much as society in general.
I don't think humans have quite adapted yet to this new world in which we find ourselves. :-)
After several million years, all of a sudden life has changed and changed in unfathomable ways!
Another million years or so and maybe we will have figured out how to live.

The times I find myself getting angry or frustrated are few. But I'll tell you of the circumstances that brings about those feelings.
- People who are too stubborn to listen and who tell me what I am thinking.
- People who tell me what I believe.
- People who, when it's time to put their money where their mouths are, will ridicule the way I live, curse me under their breath, claim moral superiority and then play the 'I'm tolerant of others beliefs' card so as to appear socially correct. It pisses me off.
- People who pick the good stuff from food and leave me with the rest. IE picking the cookie dough out of the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. Yea, that's right. The only time I've ever lost my cool was over that.
So I guess Mormonism, by default in America, will cause situations where Mormon males will get their undies bunched. And they are, of course, the Mormon guy's fault. Not the douche chucking the crap to begin with.
I admit that in a lot of situations we should learn to just walk away and avoid any confrontation.
