Infymus - please read

At current you are ignoring all my emails and posts, so I can only go through the public board. In cooperation with law enforcement suggestions and in light of recent events, I have been desolving as much of the use of my name as possible. You have a photo of me on a website with my name attached. I would appreciate you removing the photo of me from your website to avoid it being crawled. Or if you must have a photograph, which I don't know why you need it, please rename it. If it makes you feel better, call it jerk.jpg or whatever. I don't know why you keep ignoring this request. Just because you plaster photos of your kids across the web (which I would never do in connection with a website of your nature), doesn't mean the rest of us don't harbor a concern for it's abuse.
Thank you,
JMS

As an additional note Infymus, I would suggest you rethink some of the things you post on your website. You give your real name, your kids' first names, details of your move from one house to another, photos of the outside of your house, the inside of your house, photos of that nice new 60" TV, and a lot of personal data.... What prevents a sexual preditor from using that information to seduce your kids?
"Hey, <NAME>, I am a friend of your dad, <NAME>.. Your parents are injured and need to take you to the hospital".
That is why I find those "stick figure" things dangerous. The ones moms put on their SUVs or minivans. Some even are dumb enough to put their first names on them.
You run an agressive website. One that can be classified as agressive as I can be. Do you think in the 5 million or even 2 million (active) Mormons, there aren't a few psychos? What if you anger the wrong guy?
I am being honest and sincere.. Protect your family. Blasting the Mormons isn't worth it....

And while your at it you shouldn't:
* Buy a house
* Pay your taxes
* Get a driver's license
* register your children in school
* Be involved in any court action, criminal or civil
* register your motor vehicles
* attend a university
* subscribe to a magazine
* use a credit card
* apply for credit of any type, or get a loan.
* work any job for the government
* own a telephone.
All of these are public records or are often sold. They all can be used to track you and your family down. If you think a motivated person cannot track you down, you are kidding yourself.

If I didn't know his first and last name, none of that data would help. Plus, even then, why help them and provide it on a silver platter? We put locks on our cars and houses not because we make them foolproof, but to make it less convenient. Criminals like easy targets. THey may be able to GET into your house, but security makes it not worth it so they move to an easier house... But the fact that people can break your locks, does that mean you open the front door with a big sign that says
"Take all you want!"?

Locks are for honest people. Anyone with even a little motivation will just break a window.

Let me say this, I understand your concern. I would just caution you from becoming too worried about it. To commit some heinous act, three things have to line up:
* The Motivation to do it
* The know-how
* The means
Seldom do those three line up.
Don't live your life in fear.

I am not suprised that Infymus has been ignoring Josh's requests. I would have ignored them as well. Josh came here with a chip on his shoulder and some bridges to burn. Once you burn a bridge it is hard to rebuild the bridge. Infymus is nice guy that seldom posts here and when he does they are insightful interesting posts. I like Infymus's blog and read it very often. Infymus has a good take on Mormonism and lives in the midst of them. Infymus does not post here to incite others. Infymus has Mormons down to a tee, his blog is well done and researched.
Josh's internet antics will always be out there, he can never delete everything that he has done, so why should Infymus take down one little picture that has been everywhere?
Sorry Josh that is how I feel. You burned a bridge that cannot be rebuilt again.
It is a little to late to be worried about your personal information being available to everyone. You are the one that put it out there first.

Based on this:
Nice Guy = Guy who creates obscene pictures of people he doesn't know, screams profanity at those who disagree with him, and has a nice goatee.

Worship the goatee, Nehor.
Tell me which picture I've created that is obscene - and who it was that I didn't know. It had better not be one of the GAS, because, well, do you know them? Ever heard of political cartoons? People have been photo shopping (drawing) for centuries.
Do I scream profanities? Just because I called Harmony a coont and told Joseph Smith to F*K off?
Nehor, just shut it and go back to browsing. Nothing to see here, move along.

That has been my biggest fustration. I do feel many people here give free passes to folks they agree with, but are very strict with those they don't. Sorry, but that is how I feel.
