Heard a doozie over the weekend.

Some of you may know I'm a practicing NOM. Sitting around talking at the table NewYears Eve with a bunch of "assigned" friends. Two couples started talking about temple attendence at the AZ temple when they lived there. Apparently, during the 2004/2005 time frame, Joseph Smith appeared to some folks in the temple just shortly before one of said couples made it in for their session. They were so disappointed. I guess when they walked in, there was a lot of talk and excitment in the air and the rumor spread fast and far for weeks after.

Anyone ever heard of this?

Note: rolling eyes at such stories can kill a good relationship.

He just showed up? Tell us more. What did he look like? What did he say? Why was he there? It can't be a good Faith-Promoting Rumor unless it has juicy details.

Could be he heard that someone there conjured "Bloody Mary". Maybe he went there in the effort to get sealed to her as well?

I wished there was some "juicy details". But you know how it goes. ... "to sacred to talk about".

But that's why I posted it. I was hoping someone else had heard about this and could elaborate.

Was he looking for something (perhaps the restroom?)?

Did he give any words of advice (PowerBall numbers?)?

Well, there ARE quite a few hot blonde, endowed female members in Arizona. Perhaps that is why he graced them all with his presence. He was on the hunt for fresh new blood to "seal" himself to. His sealings are bigger and better than everyone else, you know.

ps: let's come up with a list of questions for someone to ask next time Joseph Smith decides to appear in the temple to someone. One can't be too prepared for these kinds of things you know. I'll start up a new thread for it.

Maybe they got a special surprise as they were presented at the veil.

My grandparents often recalled that my great grandfather gave one of the three nephites a ride once. Looking back at it now leaves me in desperation at wondering what else they believed.
