Church was cancelled. And some people say there is no God!

Why was church cancelled? Were you not told to go to another ward? I didn't go to church today.

We're in the middle of a blizzard. Thank you, God!

Oh, wow. I hope it gets better. Did you want the day off church?

Amazing.

If you do not want to sit through the Smith sermons, why not be a big girl and not go at all?

I don't "sit through" any sermons. I go, sit in the foyer, take the sacrament, and leave. That accomplished both my needs and my bishop's. I also have a standing appointment with the 2nd ward bishop (I'm in 1st ward) when I walk in the door of the church.

But none of that today... it's snowing! This 4" on top of the inch coat of ice that's already on the road makes for extremely hazardous driving. The roads are closed, the house is cozy, and I'm making a lovely beefy vegetable soup for tonight's dinner. Some biscuits would be nice too, I think.

Let's hope people are smart, heed the road closed signs, and don't do anything stupid, so my husband doesn't have to take the ambulance out in this mess.

Nope harmony is confused as well.

Pretty sad isn't it? A grown adult living under the rules of Mormon men.

If the only reason you go is to choke down a stale piece of white bread with some luke warm tap water, why not just have your husband do it at home with your son?

Sorry but this just pathetic harmony.

FURTHER, the very act of taking this Mormon sacrament comes with a condition that you believe smith was a prophet, which you do not.

Confused? I'm not following you.

And Boaz, you're living under the rules of men. We all are. We just choose which rules, which men, and how thoroughly we live them.

Your were quick with the reply and I too slow with the edit.

I meant Mormon men.
